Berry Dash Godot Remake is a remake of [[Berry Dash]] made by [[Puppet]] in the Godot Engine. It's not 1:1 to the original berry dash and is planned to have features not seen in the original.

== History ==
The game was originally going to be a remake of berry dash in macroquad but [[Puppet]] decided to make it in godot instead of macroquad due to macroquad being difficult to use.

No updates yet but 1.1.0 is coming soon

* Added the nothing berry to berry dash custom mode and made the idea for it
* Added custom mode percentage normalization in berry dash
* Added support for the down arrow and s key for jumping in berry dash
* Fixed a bug in berry dash custom mode where you couldn't type decimals.

Puppet became friends with [[Lncvrt]] in early 2024 and played [[Berry Dash]] commonly but did not contribute until later. She stopped being friends with [[Lncvrt]] until may 17th 2025 when she and [[Lncvrt]] stopped hating eachother and became friends again. She then started occasionally contributing to the development of [[Berry Dash]] with ideas and code contributions.

Puppet: Added a basic description and a list of berries up to the coin berry.

# Description
Berry Dash is a simple game where you play as a bird catching falling berries to gain score. There are multiple types of berries some of which provide positive effects and some of which provide negative effects.

# Berries
## Normal Berry
The Normal Berry adds 1 to the players score when eaten.

## Poison Berry
The Poison Berry resets the players score when eaten.

## Slow Berry
The Slow Berry slows the player down for 10 seconds when eaten.

## Ultra Berry
The Ultra Berry speeds up the player for 10 seconds when eaten. If the player eats one while they already have the effect it will add 10 seconds to the timer. For example if you have 5 seconds left of the effect and then eat an ultra berry the timer will be 15 seconds. No other berry has this effect.

## Speedy Berry
The Speedy Berry speeds up the player and how fast the berries fall for 10 seconds when eaten.

## Coin Berry
The Coin Berry gives the player 10 coins when eaten. This berry is only present in normal mode.
